This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies darlanastudio.com uses, for what purpose, and how you can change your consent at any time.
1. What are cookies?
A cookie is a small text file placed on a visitor's device by a website. It allows the site to recognise the device, remember settings and compile usage statistics. In this policy “cookies” also covers similar technologies, in particular browser local storage, session storage and tracking pixels.
2. Legal basis
The placing of cookies is governed by Chapter 9, Section 28 of the Swedish Electronic Communications Act (lag 2022:482 om elektronisk kommunikation) and by the GDPR. Cookies strictly necessary for the operation of the website are placed without consent; all other cookies are placed only with your prior, explicit consent.
3. How we obtain consent
On your first visit a cookie banner is displayed where you can accept or reject non-essential cookies by category. Your choice is applied through Google Consent Mode v2, which we use in basic mode:
- Before you choose, the following are set to “denied”: advertising storage (ad_storage), analytics storage (analytics_storage), sending user data to Google for advertising (ad_user_data), ad personalisation (ad_personalization) and personalisation storage (personalization_storage). Only functionality storage (functionality_storage) and security storage (security_storage) are “granted”.
- Accepting “Analytics” grants analytics_storage and personalization_storage; accepting “Marketing” grants ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization.
- The Google tags (Google Analytics 4, Google Ads and the conversion linker) only load after you have consented, and only for the categories you accepted. Before or without your consent they do not load, set no cookies and send no data, including no cookieless signals, to Google.
The Google Tag Manager script itself is loaded on every page so that it can apply your choice; like any file request, this gives Google your IP address and browser information. Google Tag Manager itself does not set cookies.

5. Third-party processing
Statistics and advertising cookies are set by Google Ireland Limited, which processes the resulting data under its own privacy policy, available at policies.google.com/privacy. When you point at or click a booking button, the booking window is loaded from Calendly, LLC. Inside that window, Calendly may set its own cookies and similar technologies on its own domain (calendly.com): strictly necessary ones for security and to make the booking work, and, depending on your choices in Calendly's own cookie settings, functional and analytics ones. We do not control these cookies. Calendly describes how it uses cookies in the cookie section of Calendly's Privacy Notice, and you can manage them in Calendly's cookie settings. Safeguards for international transfers are described in section 5 of our Privacy Policy.
6. Withdrawing or changing your consent
- Use the cookie icon in the website footer to reopen the preference panel and change your choices at any time.
- You can delete existing cookies and block new ones in your browser settings. The exact steps vary by browser and are usually found under “Privacy and security”.
- You can also opt out of Google Analytics measurement using Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Please note that disabling strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the website from working correctly.
