Google Ads Audit

Is your Google Ads account actually working for your business?

Most problems sit in the background, in the settings and the tracking. We find them, and show you what to fix first.

A view from the outside

A Google Ads account collects a lot of decisions over time: settings, structures, ad copy, targeting. Some were intentional, some were adjustments, and some simply became habit. From the outside, all of this is much easier to see.

When an audit makes sense

  • You're paying for ads, but you can't tell what they actually bring in.
  • You'd like a fresh pair of eyes on your account, whoever runs it today.
  • Your results have changed, and you'd like to understand why.
  • You're planning a bigger step, like a new budget, a new setup or a new team, and want to know where you're starting from.

The audit isn't about judging anyone's work. It's about finding what may have been overlooked, so you can decide what's next.

How it works

Day 1

Access

You give us temporary access to your Google Ads account and tracking tools. We go through the structure, the settings running in the background, the ads, and whether your conversions are measured correctly.

Days 1–4

Analysis

We look for what may never have come up, or has quietly drifted off course. A common one: campaigns optimising towards conversions that don't reflect a real business result. We also check whether the data behind your reports can actually be trusted.

Within a week

Report and walkthrough

Within 3–4 working days, you get a written report: what we found, why it matters and what to fix first. Within a week, we go through it together on a video call, so you know exactly what to change and how.

What we look at

Every account is different, but most audits cover three areas.

Structure and strategy

Account and campaign structure, bidding strategies and settings, and how the budget is split.

Targeting and messaging

Search terms and keywords, location and language targeting, including across Sweden and Denmark, and how well the ad copy matches the landing page.

Tracking and data

Conversion tracking and what it actually counts, your GA4 and Google Tag Manager setup, and Consent Mode as required in the EU.

We find problems with measurement more often than with the campaigns themselves.

If the data doesn't reflect reality, even the best optimisation pushes things in the wrong direction.

What you get, and what we need

What we need from you

  • Temporary access to your Google Ads account
  • Access to GA4 and Google Tag Manager
  • A short note on your business goals

What you get

  • A written report: what we found, why it matters and what to fix first
  • Clear priorities, with the changes that make the biggest difference at the top
  • A video call to walk through it together, within a week

After the audit

The report is yours, and the next step is your call. You can make the changes yourself, pass it on to whoever runs your account, or let us take it from there, through Ad Management or Paid Ads Consultancy. If you continue with Ad Management, the audit fee is credited towards it.

Frequently asked questions

It depends on the size and complexity of your account. We agree on a fixed price before we start, so there are no surprises.

You get the written report within 3–4 working days of receiving access, and we go through it together on a call within a week.

Temporary access to your Google Ads account, GA4 and Google Tag Manager. You stay in control and can remove it at any time. We don't change anything in your account during the audit.

Then we'll tell you. Knowing your account is in good shape is a useful result too.

No. The audit covers Google Ads and the tracking behind it.

Yes. We review the structure, settings, targeting and tracking of Swedish and Danish accounts in full. Since neither is our native language, we don't assess the wording of ad copy in those languages.
